We are very proud to announce that La Salette has been awarded Eco-School Green Flag status! As part of our work in the last academic year we have been finding ways to improve the sustainability of the school and the Eco-School Council were amazing with their ideas - from cycling to school to litter collection, the whole school learnt and put into action small things to help care for the planet God has given us.
A special thank you to Miss O'Flynn who lead the initiative and oversaw our accreditation.
We will continue to work toward the Catholic Social Teaching of 'Caring for Creation' this year and the new Eco-School Council have decided to focus on recycling and reducing our plastic waste!
