La Salette Catholic Primary School

Our Book at Bedtime day was a huge success and it was great to hear the enthusiasm for reading in our school. Reading is such an important skill and the enthusiasm the children showed was fantastic! The Book Fair proved very popular this year and the introduction of the online pay system was well received. The school have been rewarded with £500 in book vouchers to spend and Miss Courtney is already busy planning what to buy!

 Every year we are amazed at the creativity of families to make beloved book characters out of turnips, carrot or leeks and this year was no exception. Congratulation to our winners from each class who received a certificate and a book as a prize.
