La Salette Catholic Primary School

Our junior classes had a brilliant visit from Conductive Music, a team who blend technology and music together. Year 3 and 4 explored musical notation and then connected crocodile clips to objects and themselves to create music by touching fingers and producing musical notes.

The children then explored chords and melodies using this unique technique! The children thoroughly enjoyed it! Our Year 5 and 6 created their own melodies using a ‘MicroBit’ and laptops to code musical notation into melodies, while learning about constructing a composition. It was the first time we had hosted Conductive Music and the children are very keen to have them return!
